Regression Analysis

Regression analysis measures the strength between variables which needs to be explained (for example, satisfaction of costumers) and one or more explanatory variables (for example, with the quality and price of the product).

If the connection is strong, this analysis can predict the value of one variable when the other variables have familiar values (for example, the level of satisfaction will change if product satisfaction increases from 6 to 7).

The regression analysis is commonly used in the following cases:

  • In survey of costumers satisfaction and the satisfaction of employees so we can get answers to the question like "which characteristics of the product most contribute to someone’s satisfaction or loyalty to the brand".
  • For simulating results when certain measures are taken for example, what will happen to the satisfaction mark when you increase the availability of the product?
